Solana Rug Checker

Paste a token's mint address. In a few seconds you see whether its supply can still be minted, whether wallets can be frozen, how much of the liquidity is locked, how concentrated the holders are, and whether the biggest wallets were funded from the same place.

Newest Solana tokens on Launch Radar (tokens from DexScreener's new-profile and boost lists, under 7 days old, with $10.0K+ liquidity and $5.0K+ daily volume). In the last 7 days the radar tracked 713 of them; RugCheck scored 45 of the 693 it checked at 50/100 risk or higher.

Risk score: RugCheck, 0 (no issues found) to 100. Flags are RugCheck's danger and warning findings (up to four). Facts, not a verdict on any project.

What the scan checks

  • Mint authority. If it is still enabled, someone can create new tokens at any time and dilute every holder. On most memecoins it should be revoked.
  • Freeze authority. If it is enabled, the holder of that key can freeze any wallet's tokens, so you could be unable to sell.
  • Liquidity lock. The share of the pool's liquidity tokens that are locked or burned. Unlocked liquidity can be pulled out in one transaction, which is the classic rug pull.
  • Holder concentration. RugCheck flags tokens whose top 10 holders own a large share of the supply. A few wallets holding most of it can crash the price by selling.
  • Honeypot and danger flags. RugCheck's danger-level findings, such as a token you can buy but not sell.
  • Trading that doesn't add up. Volume above 50× the pool's liquidity in 24 hours, or $100K+ of volume from fewer than 50 trades, usually means wash trading or a few wallets moving size back and forth.
  • Pool age and liquidity. Pools under 24 hours old, and pools under $10.0K, are flagged: easy to move, hard to exit.
  • Who funded the top holders. For up to 20 of the largest holders, ARC AI finds the wallet that first sent each one SOL. Many top holders funded by one wallet is a sign the supply sits with one team (a bundle), even when it looks spread out.

How the verdict is decided

RISKY means a severe finding: a honeypot, a RugCheck risk score of 50 or more, or any danger-level RugCheck flag. CAUTION means at least one point above needs a look, such as open mint authority, low liquidity or a very new pool. CLEAN means none of the checks found anything. Every result lists the exact reasons, so you can judge them yourself.

What a rug checker cannot tell you

Software reads the contract and the chain as they are right now. It cannot see a team's intentions, a liquidity lock that expires next week, or wallets that will sell later. A CLEAN result lowers some risks; it does not make a token safe. Treat the scan as a checklist, not advice.

Where the data comes from

Contract checks come from RugCheck's public API, market data from DexScreener, and the funding map from Solana transaction history read through Helius. ARC AI combines them into one result and adds its own checks for wash trading and wallet funding. The same scan powers the Launch Radar and the Telegram bot, and every call our agents make is graded in public on the track record.

Questions

Is the Solana rug checker free?

Yes. The scan is free, needs no wallet and no account. A longer AI report on /analyze needs a free wallet sign-in.

Where does the data come from?

Contract checks (mint and freeze authority, liquidity lock, risk score) come from RugCheck’s public API. Price, liquidity, volume and trades come from DexScreener. The wallet funding map is built by ARC AI from Solana transaction history via Helius RPC.

Does a CLEAN result mean the token is safe?

No. CLEAN means none of the automated checks found a red flag at the moment of the scan. A team can still sell its tokens, liquidity that is locked today can unlock later, and off-chain promises cannot be checked by software.

Why does my token show “No trading pool found”?

The scan needs a live DEX pool. You may have pasted a wallet address, or the token has not launched on a DEX that DexScreener covers yet.

Does it work for Ethereum, Base or BNB tokens?

Yes. Paste an EVM contract (0x…) and the same scan runs with GoPlus contract checks: honeypot, buy and sell tax, mint and ownership functions.
